SUMMARY:CETP - Vapor Distribution
DESCRIPTION:Vapor Distribution is a three-day continuing education seminar geared toward the service technician or personnel involved in vapor distribution. Students will take a number of quizzes and tests in order to assess their pace of learning. A multiple choice test will be administered at the end of the class. Topics covered in this class but not limited to: preparing tanks and cylinders for transporting; locating underground utilities and services; preparing foundations; installing regulators; sizing distribution lines\, copper tubing\, steel piping and corrugated stainless steel tubing; performing pressure tests on gas distribution lines; performing leak checks\, flow checks; operating pressure requirements; placing appliances into service; documenting and recordkeeping; communicating safety information to customers. Tests are graded by a third party and the results are mailed to each company. \nSchedule \n\nRegistration: 7:45 am\nTraining: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm\n\nCost \n\nMembers: $275 per student\nNon-members: $395 per student\n\nPDF Registration \nWho Should Attend?\nPropane industry personnel who have previously completed CETP Module 1: Basic Principles and Practices and would like to expand their training to include vapor distribution. \nAdditional Information \nMO-PERC funding underwrites the cost of student and test materials as well as a copy of NFPA 58\, pencils\, markers and other materials. Lunch and break refreshments are provided. Other meals\, lodging\, and travel are not included.
