MO Governor Mike Kehoe Grants Hours of Service Relief 25-36
Due to ongoing winter conditions and disruptions, Missouri has issued an Emergency Declaration temporarily lifting federal Hours of Service (HOS) driving limits for certain carriers.
It is MPGA’s intention for this declaration to apply only to transport carriers.
Governor Mike Kehoe issued Executive Order 25-36, which provides HOS relief for commercial motor vehicles transporting residential heating fuel in Missouri, including propane, natural gas, and heating oil. View the list of current Hours of Service waivers. Note the requirements and restrictions for each action.
We urge all drivers and motor carriers to exercise extreme caution when operating under this declaration. Incidents involving over-hours personnel may harm our ability to obtain relief in the future.
Executive Order 25-36 is in effect through January 2, 2026, unless extended.
